Marcel Caufriez

Expert in Rehabilitation of Women – Sexologist, creator of the Hypopressive Method, Neuromiostatics, Peripartum, Physiosexology and Caufriez Concept.

Specialist in the prevention and treatment of bodily and emotional dysfunctions related to women’s health.

His work is mainly directed at women. He uses an algorithmic analysis through different tests, to apply various methods of treatment such as the Hypopressive Method, Peripartum, Visceral Neuromyostatics and Physiosexology.

Hypopressive method

Applied technique that does not increase thoracic and abdominal pressure, this effect being due to a tonic relaxation of the thoracic diaphragm. That is, a decrease in the activity of the small postural muscle fibers of the diaphragm (I fibers) and a normalization of the tone of the muscles of the airways and the Abdominal Girdle.

The Hypopressive Method® of? Dr Marcel Caufriez, includes rhythmic and sequential postural exercises (grouped in various programs of hypopressive techniques) always associated with Therapy, different techniques of Manual and Instrumental Therapy, ecophysiological techniques and emotional management techniques, which allow the integration, memorization and automation of sensitive or sensory proprioceptive “messages” associated with a particular postural position.

During the exercises, we witness a series of neurological reflex reactions in a chain that we call divergences, which are responsible for the beneficial effects of Hypopressive Gymnastics, such as the reflex contraction of the abdominal muscles and the muscles of the perineum. ?

There are three types of Hypopressive practice: Hypopressive Abdominal Gymnastics programs, Diaphragmatic Aspiration Techniques and Tension Transfer Techniques.

¡¡¡Hypopressive gymnastics programs are generally associated with other treatment techniques, eg. pharmacological, nutritional, osteopathic, manual or instrumental therapies, eco-physiological, … !!!
